Housing Estate Boundary Wall, Long Preston

This extensive project involved constructing a substantial boundary wall for a new housing development. The developer required a high-quality stone wall that would complement the traditional Yorkshire architecture while providing a secure and attractive perimeter for the estate.

Working closely with the construction team, we repurposed all of the stone from nearby field walls (as seen in the first picture), ensuring it met both the aesthetic requirements and structural needs for this large-scale installation.

Our experienced wallers meticulously constructed each section, incorporating proper drainage solutions and structural elements to ensure longevity. Traditional coping stones crown the wall, providing both protection from the elements and an authentic finishing touch that honors the local building heritage.

The completed boundary wall has become a defining feature of the development, adding significant value to the properties while creating a harmonious connection with the surrounding Yorkshire landscape. This project demonstrates our ability to deliver large-scale commercial stonework without compromising on traditional craftsmanship or attention to detail.
